Alan Oterin was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He attended college at SUNY University at Buffalo, where he graduated with a B.A. in Legal Studies. After graduating college, Alan moved to Colorado to attend law school at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Alan competed in several mock trial competitions and was a member of the National Trial Team. He also worked as a student attorney with the University’s Criminal Defense Clinic. During his last year of law school, Alan worked as a law clerk at a local insurance defense firm, Ross-Shannon & Delaney.
Soon after taking the February 2021 bar exam, Alan joined CWF&D. His practice focuses on personal injury defense, insurance bad faith, and premises liability. Alan is licensed to practice in both state and federal courts in Colorado.
In his free time, Alan enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing tennis, and exploring the Colorado outdoors.
